WARSAW CAVES CAMP - Rabbit Cooking

Our Fall theme is survival cooking, so we neede to prep an animal. Rabbits (destined for butchering)
were purchased from a local farm and were skinned, cleaned and cooked as stew, in a pit and on a spit over a fire.
This took most of Sat. afternoon.
Other projects included the construction of snare traps on Sat. morning and a canoe trip into the town of Warsaw
on Sunday.

Sunday's weather was always threatening to rain, but we were lucky, ...except for the wind.

Don't bond with the food.
