TRAP MAKING

MARCH '07

In March we went to visit the Brownes' for a weekend
dedicated to trap making and trapping skills. 

A variety of deadfall and snare traps were practiced.
In the words of one boy,
"Even the simplest traps are pretty complicated."

We also spent some time learning about baiting and locating traps effectively.

This was very much for practice.  No animals were harmed.
A proper respect for nature was always present.
